Missoula Children's Theatre

Students entering grades 1-12 are invited to participate in the joy of creating theatre! Auditions for The Pied Piper will take Monday, July 14th from 10 a.m. – noon. The cast will be announced at noon and rehearsals will begin. Rehearsal schedule varies by part. Performances will take place Saturday, July 19th.

Drawing on her roots in folk, Americana, and country, Rochelle Clark has found a sound that is uniquely her own. Rochelle's powerful vocals and driving guitar will capture your attention and her songwriting will draw you back again and again! Jason Dennie grew up with a father who loved bluegrass and country music, and grandparents who had a family bluegrass gospel group. Dennie placed second in the Telluride Bluegrass Festival Band Competition and continues to enchant audiences with his acoustic and roots music. The music is jazz influenced with acoustic guitars, harmonica, and some percussion but draws upon many styles creating a show that grooves, soothes, and tells stories. Since 1985, Bill Purk has delighted audiences with bluegrass, gospel, and classic country music. Toe-tapping tunes, light-hearted jokes, and stories are included with each charming performance. Raised by two members of the "greatest generation," Bill Purk has been pickin' and singin' since "Ike" was in office. Proficient on six instruments, Bill usually relies on his trusty Martin D-28 to help him entertain.

They not only sing, play the fiddle, cello, the piano, and French accordion, but also include French-Canadian step dancing into their magical mix of talents!
